Employers should create a sense of culture that makes employees proud to be part of the team. Recently, the Oregonian named BMWC as one of the ‘Top Workplaces for 2021.’ This stride continues as the Indiana Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Workforce Research Group to honor BMWC with the ‘Best Places to Work in Indiana 2022’ award.

So, what makes working for BMWC so great? Here are some anonymous responses from a recent employee engagement survey that best represents what it’s like working for BMWC:

What motivates you to give your best work?

“BMWC’s commitment to doing the right thing.”

“Success, knowing that hard work is recognized and rewarded. Also, the freedom to do my job, use creativity, and create processes to complete my duties as I see fit.”

“Having a helpful and encouraging manager, receiving good feedback, and having good relationships with my coworkers.”

“Working with a good team. When working with the right people, and the morale is positive, it drives me to be my best….”

“I am motivated by teamwork, a willingness to successfully and safely install a project. I love when I know I’m part of the team and I’m respected by my peers and the PM, Superintendent, and GF’s onsite. Coming together as one team striving to have the safest project that makes money is fun.”
