Fabrication

As North America’s industrial construction leader, BMWC is capable of executing custom fabrication assignments to the letter.

BMWC is sought after for our Integrated Project Delivery Process (IPD), which was designed with industrial markets in mind. Our unique IPD approach integrates people, core values, systems, and methods into a process that collaboratively harnesses the talents and insights of all participants to reduce waste and optimize efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication, modularization and construction. Our design group is involved early in the project cycle and is integral to the IPD process, where it performs CAD design services, coordination and BIM.

We have the equipment and facilities needed to address customers’ needs, including weld positioners that can handle piping of 1/2 in. up to 72 in. Just as important as these assets, however, are the abilities of our employees; with the capacity to perform flame, plasma arc, oxy-acetylene and abrasive saw cutting, as well as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW welds, BMWC can readily tackle any fabrication undertaking with skill.

Technical proficiencies include spool detailing and marking, customer assistance, skid design, testing, hydrostatic pressure testing, and more.

We use an integrated set of BIM software platforms to efficiently and accurately meet clients’ fabrication needs. This combination of CAD, spreadsheet and database solutions that are both cloud and locally based helps our company achieve customers’ goals. Pipe spools are tracked from the time they are entered into our database through each stage of fabrication, from shop detailing to quality control, shipping and receipt at the jobsite.

We also have extensive clean room capabilities; BMWC offers fabrication services for specialty gas, chemical and waste applications. With our wide range of competencies, we can weld all sizes of high purity stainless steel tubing and pipe, and our high purity infrared machines can meet all of our customers’ plastic needs.

Furthermore, BMWC possesses welding stamps R, S, and U. These authorizations certify the adeptness of our craftspeople and the intricate work they perform using a variety of materials, including high purity, alloy, carbon and stainless steel, monel and aluminum.

From process skids to giant vessels and everything in between, BMWC has the resources to deliver quality fabrication craftsmanship through all work that we do.
