BMWC Constructors was once again presented with the Safety Achievement Award at the region’s annual Construction Awards Banquet, which was held in Merrillville on May 12. The event is organized by the Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable (NWIBRT) in conjunction with the Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF). These organizations serve to recognize local contractors’ exceptional safety and performance accomplishments.

Such accomplishments specific to the Safety Achievement Award include maintaining Days Away From Work (DAFW), Days Away Restricted or Transferred (DART) and Total Recordable Incidence Rates (TRIR) at lower levels than those of the Northwest Indiana Regional Contractor community on average, which ranks at the top nationally with regards to its commendable safety statistics.
