The Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF) presented BMWC with the Industrial-Capital Project of the Year award for the work done at NIPSCO for the Unit 17/18 Dust Collector Project. This project included multiple helicopter lifts and extensive planning and collaboration. The BMWC team completed the project with zero injuries, zero weld rejects, on schedule and under budget.

In addition, The Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable (NWIBRT) awarded BMWC with the Safety Achievement Award. The NWIBRT Safety Committee awards contractors for innovative and superior safety accomplishments, and the Northwest Indiana contractor community as a whole ranks nationally at the top in safety statistics.

Also, BMWC awarded Ron Pearman with Craftsperson of the Year for his exemplary work.
