Impacting the Communities Around Us

The Citgo team with their Toys for Tots donations.

One of BMWC’s founding core values is to enrich the communities in which we live and work. With five offices spanning the country, we have the unique opportunity to impact numerous towns, states and regions. This holiday season, BMWC is ready to make a difference.

West Coast Giving

The West Coast team is partnering with My Father’s House to collect items for a donation drive. My Father’s House is a non profit shelter agency in East Multnomah County, Oregon. With over 30 families in their care, they provide life-changing classes and services to help them get back on their feet. The West Coast team is hoping to enrich their Christmas season by collecting adult and children’s clothing, new toys, books, dvd’s and non-perishable foods. Their goal is to raise 200 items by Christmas Eve!

Chicagoland Giving

The Chicagoland office and jobsites are collecting Toys for Tots, and our Citgo team alone raised more than $1,000 for BMWC’s Toys for Tots donation! BMWC is proud to support their mission of bringing hope to America’s less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy. Since 1947, Toys for Tots has distributed 566 million toys and supported 258 million kids. The team is excited to add to that number!

Indianapolis Giving

The Indy Office is partnering with the Salvation Army for their Angel Tree fundraiser this year. Angel Tree is a unique holiday assistance program that connects an individual or group with a deserving child (or “Angel”) in need. For the past few weeks the team has been busy gathering clothes, toys, books and anything each child has on their list.

BMWC is proud to support each of these organizations as well as United Way and several others throughout the year. If you’re interested in donating time, energy or resources this holiday season, these are great places to start!
